Transmittal No. I-1-56

Subject: Class Actions

Background

As a result of a reorganization, OHA's Special Programs and Services (SPS) Staff, formerly Special Counsel Staff (SCS), was merged with the Office of General Law within the Office of the General Counsel and is no longer under OHA. Explanation of Content and Changes

This transmittal updates and revises Chapter I-1-7 (Class Actions).

Chapter I-1-7 is revised to delete all references to the former OHA Special Program and Services Staff and to the former Office of Acquiescence and Litigation Coordination (OALC). The responsibilities of the former SPS will be handled by other OHA components, as appropriate. The responsibilities of the former OALC have been assumed by the Office of Program Law in OGC.
