Background

This transmittal makes changes to chapter I-4-3 of the Hearings, Appeals and Litigation Law (HALLEX) manual as part of an overall reorganization of Division I-4. This reorganization is intended to organize instructions in a manner that more closely mirror the business practices of the Division of Civil Actions.

Explanation of Content and Changes

HALLEX I-4-3 is amended as follows:

I-4-3 – We changed the title of the chapter to “Declarations” to more accurately reflect the content of the chapter.

I-4-3-1 – We incorporated information previously in HALLEX I-4-1-30 without revision, except to update references to HALLEX sections that this transmittal notes were moved from I-4-1 to I-4-3.

I-4-3-5 – We incorporated information previously in HALLEX I-4-1-31 without revision, except to update references to HALLEX sections that this transmittal notes were moved from I-4-1 to I-4-3.

I-4-3-10 – We incorporated information previously in HALLEX I-4-1-32 without revision.

I-4-3-15 – We incorporated information previously in HALLEX I-4-1-33 without revision.

I-4-3-20 – We incorporated information previously in HALLEX I-4-1-35 without revision, except to update references to HALLEX sections that this transmittal notes were moved from I-4-1 to I-4-3.

I-4-3-43 – We removed the section in its entirety because the information was moved to HALLEX I-4-0-30.

I-4-3-44 – We removed the section in its entirety because the information was moved to HALLEX I-4-0-40.

I-4-3-45 – We removed the section in its entirety because the information was moved to HALLEX I-4-0-50.

I-4-3-116 – We removed the section in its entirety because the information was moved to HALLEX I-4-7-30.

I-4-3-117 – We removed the section in its entirety because the information was moved to HALLEX I-4-7-40.
