2502. What are the Thresholds?

The thresholds for 2009 are $170,000 for individuals with the tax filing status of Married filing jointly and $85,000 for all other tax filing statuses.

The Modified Adjusted Gross Income (MAGI) thresholds used for Income-Related Monthly Adjustment Amount (IRMAA) determinations are tied to the consumer price index and are published annually by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
