2711. When are you residing outside the United States?

You are considered to be residing outside the United States if you have established a home outside the United States and intend to continue living outside the United States.

You can receive SVB for any month in which you are residing outside the United States on the first day of the month.

Outside the United States means outside the 50 States, the District of Columbia and the Northern Mariana Islands.
