If You Work In An Affected Office

If your office was affected, you can get information about its operating status at 1-866-772-2996, the national emergency toll free number. The instructions at this number will be updated on an ongoing basis.
 

 

For Members Of The Public

If you are a member of the public who needs to contact Social Security, you should call the Agency's toll-free number at 1-800-772-1213. If you are deaf or hard of hearing, call the Agency's toll-free TTY number at 1-800-325-0778.

Current and retired federal employees impacted by the hurricanes should also check the Office of Personnel Management website or call 1-800-307-8298 for additional information.
