HLP-SAMPLECHK
The sample check has a series of numbers in the lower left hand corner. On the sample check, the
- first nine digits of the number would be the 9-digit bank Routing Number,
- account number is the middle set of digits, and
- the last set of digits is the check number.
Some checks show the numbers in a different order. For example, on some checks, the check number may appear before the account number.
