President Signs H.R. 1388, The Edward M. Kennedy Serve America Act (Public Law 111-13)    

On April 21, 2009, the President signed H.R. 1388, the Edward M. Kennedy Serve America Act. The Act has been designated Public Law 111-13. On March 26, 2009, the Senate amended and passed the bill as introduced by the House. On March 31, 2009, the House approved the Senate amendments to the bill.
