in Silver Spring, MD, was the main guest on a Talk Show broadcast
by Radio America. Michael was interviewed by Alejandro Carrasco,
host of the acclaimed Show “Calentando la Mañana”.
The show is broadcast throughout several counties in Virginia,
Maryland and the District of Columbia and has a vast audience that
includes residents who listen to the show via internet. Michael
spoke about Medicare
benefits including the Prescription
Drug Program. He utilized the motto “I Helped my Mom
save $3,600 in prescription drug costs” to deliver a special
message to support the Mother's Day Extra Help Initiative. He spoke
about income and resource limits and informed the audience about
the easy way to file for Extra Help at Social
Security Online or by calling the Toll Free Number. Diana Varela,
Public Affairs Specialist, also participated by providing information
