Diseases of the musculoskeletal system and connective tissues were most prevalent, accounting for 25 percent of disabled workers, followed by mental disorders (24 percent). Ten percent had neoplasms, 8 percent had a nervous system or sense organ disorder, 12 percent had circulatory problems, and 20 percent had other impairments.
