Subject: Introduction to HALLEX
Background
Efforts to convert and migrate HALLEX to SSA's Policy Repository are nearing completion. Although the organization of material in HALLEX is essentially unchanged, the numbering system was changed slightly to allow for growth and expansion.
Explanation of Content and Changes
This transmittal updates section I-1-0-2 regarding the organization of HALLEX to reflect a change in the numbering system for HALLEX material. The change coincides with the conversion and migration of HALLEX to SSA's Policy Repository and the availability of HALLEX through PolicyNet. The transmittal also updates information regarding the organization of Volumes I and II and makes minor editorial revisions.
