Chapter: I-2-1
Subject: Prehearing Analysis and Case Workup
This transmittal amends the Hearings, Appeals and Litigation Law (HALLEX) manual Chapter I-2-1 to relocate instructions relating to handling threats of violence from the public. We also updated the hyperlinks within the provision.
I-2-1-37 – We changed the title to “Threats of Violence and Ban Letter Procedures” to better reflect the new purpose of the section. We relocated the instruction currently in the section to HALLEX I-1-9-5 and added a hyperlink. We also added a hyperlink to the new section titled “Ban Letter Procedures,” which replaces I-2-1-38.
I-2-1-38 – We moved the instruction to HALLEX I-1-9-10 and eliminated the section.
