Article 17 designates one agency in each country that has primary responsibility for coordinating implementation and administration of the coverage and benefit provisions of the Agreement.  SSA is the designated liaison agency for the United States, and the Main Association of Austrian Social Insurance Agencies is the counterpart liaison agency for Austria.
