For Brazil, this Agreement applies to the laws governing the old age, survivors and disability insurance programs of two branches of the social security system: the General Regime of Social Security (RGPS) and the Regime of Social Security of Public Servants (RPPS).  RGPS covers private sector workers, both urban and rural, and civil servants hired according to private sector rules.  RPPS covers permanent civil servants and military personnel.
