Social Security Programs in the United States
A comprehensive description of Social Security Act programs and their operations. The publication covers four major program types: social insurance, health insurance and health services, assistance programs, and programs for specific groups (such as veterans, government employees, and railroad workers).
State Assistance Programs for SSI Recipients
An annual publication presenting statistics on selected characteristics of mandatory and optional state assistance programs for SSI recipients. It focuses on eligibility provisions and the maximum levels of assistance for individuals and couples who receive supplementary payments.

Due to diminishing resources and increasingly unreliable data, 2011 was the last edition of State Assistance Programs for SSI Recipients. We will continue to report optional state supplementation payment levels for federally administered states in our SSI Recipients by State and County publication.

Social Security Programs Throughout the World
A biannual publication highlighting the principal features of social security programs in more than 170 countries. Published in collaboration with the International Social Security Association, one of four regional volumes was issued every six months.
