The Office of Financial Policy and Operations (OFPO) is pleased to announce the implementation of the Financial Interactive Voice Response (FIVR) System.

FIVR is an automated self-service telephone system available 24 hours a day that allows direct electronic access to administrative payment information using the telephone keypad.

Vendors providing goods and/or services to SSA can obtain the most current payment processing activity by using the telephone!


Using the FIVR System

Dial the Customer Service Telephone Line at (410) 965-0607, press the appropriate button and access the services below:


Bullet Number 1

To enter your Employee Identification Number (EIN) or Social Security Number (SSN) and immediately receive the status of your last five invoices or payment claims submitted and received by the Office of Finance.

Vendors can also request a fax for any payment processing activity in the last 45 days.

Bullet Number 2

For the status of SSA employee travel, eyewear, PLI or training.
Bullet Number 3

If you have received a check or direct deposit that you can identify in your records.
Bullet Number 4

For the status of Third Party Draft and Bankcard information.
Bullet Number 5

For our mailing address, email address, FAX number, Office of Finance web site or Treasury's PAID system web site

For customer service to answer your more complex questions.

For Questions

The Customer Service Staff in the Office of Finance, available from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Eastern Time), will continue to answer inquiries with more complex questions and concerns of the vendors.

We encourage our vendors to dial into FIVR and inquire about pending and/or completed payments.
