Subject: Implementation of the Difford Acquiescence Ruling
This transmittal updates the Hearings, Appeals, and Litigation Law manual Temporary Instructions (TI) in Volume I, Division 5. We are removing the TI regarding implementation of the Difford Acquiescence ruling as it is obsolete due to Social Security Ruling (SSR) 13-3p: Title II: Appeal of an Initial Medical Disability Cessation Determination or Decision.
TI I-5-4-40 – We removed the TI titled “Implementation of the Difford Acquiescence Ruling.”
