Restricted Public Licensing Information

Restricted Public datasets are datasets that are available under certain use restrictions.

Access to this data is restricted because it contains Personally Identifiable Information (PII) subject to the Privacy Act of 1974 (5 U.S.C. § 552a), as amended, or otherwise contains sensitive or confidential information, or it contains information that may be exempt from public release under the Freedom of Information Act (5 U.S.C. § 552), or is otherwise protected intellectual property.

Please note that SSA may only disclose restricted data to requesters who are authorized to receive the data under Federal law and regulations. Such requesters will be required to sign a non-disclosure or restricted use agreement, where appropriate.
