Background

The Disability Case Review is a post-effectuation quality review of administrative law judge (ALJ) disability hearing decisions. This dataset includes results from these case reviews for fiscal year (FY) 2009 and onward. The data is at the national level. We show the agreement rate for favorable decisions and the agreement rate for unfavorable decisions.

We included an analysis of the results of our review in our Annual Performance Reports for FY 2014 (page 134) and FY 2015 (page 135).
