Subject: Fraud, Similar Fault, Criminal Violations, and Referrals from OIG
This transmittal amends Hearings, Appeals and Litigation Law (HALLEX) manual section I-1-3-30 to refer Office of Hearings Operations (OHO) staff and Office of Appellate (OAO) staff to appropriate HALLEX sections for further processing instructions when an excluded medical source of evidence (excluded medical source) fails to provide a written statement of exclusion. We also made additional minor editorial changes throughout this section.
