Background
This transmittal adds section I-2-2-45 to the Hearings, Appeals and Litigation Law (HALLEX) manual to incorporate information about Social Security Rulings (SSR) and Acquiescence Rulings (AR) formerly in HALLEX I-2-8-3.
Explanation of Content and Changes
We added section I-2-2-45 to incorporate information about SSRs and ARs formerly in HALLEX I-2-8-3. We made several editorial and formatting changes to the information. We also added general information about coding cases when the agency is considering issuing an AR.
