Background
This transmittal amends section I-2-5-18 of the Hearings, Appeals and Litigation Law (HALLEX) manual to update instructions for obtaining medical source testimony at a hearing.
Explanation of Content and Changes
We amended HALLEX I-2-5-18 by reorganizing the information for clarity and making editorial changes consistent with other HALLEX instructions. We also added helpful references to other HALLEX sections.
