Background

This transmittal updates section I-2-1-5 of the Hearings, Appeals and Litigation Law (HALLEX) manual to provide instructions for processing cases containing an unadjudicated claim at the hearing level.

Explanation of Content and Changes

HALLEX I-2-1-5 – In subsection C, we added a new instruction for hearing office staff, during prehearing workup, to ensure all concurrent claim(s) or requests for escalation of claim(s) are associated with the case.
