Background
This transmittal amends HALLEX I-2-5-1 to reflect changes in the Code of Federal Regulations.
Explanation of Content and Changes
I-2-5-1 is revised to reflect changes to 20 CFR 404.1502, 416.902, 404.1513(a), and 416.913(a). Specifically, the definitions of “medical sources” and “acceptable medical sources” are made current. The definition of “treating source” is clarified.
