Subject: Initial Processing of a Request for Review
Background
This transmittal amends section I-3-1-1 of the Hearings, Appeals and Litigation Law (HALLEX) manual to insert a reference to instructions for requests for review that are submitted prematurely or are erroneously established in the Appeals Review Processing System (ARPS). We also made other editorial changes throughout the section.
Explanation of Content and Changes
We amended HALLEX I-3-1-1 by adding a NOTE 3 in subsection A that references processing instructions for requests for review that are submitted prematurely or are erroneously established in ARPS. We made other minor editorial changes throughout the section.
