Background

This transmittal amends Hearings, Appeals and Litigation Law (HALLEX) manual section I-3-8-20 to remove outdated guidance on split actions.

Explanation of Content and Changes

HALLEX I-3-8-20 – We deleted the Note in subsection B in its entirety because our procedures relating to split actions are now reflected in new HALLEX I-3-2-60. We also made minor editorial changes throughout to improve readability.
