Chapter 6-90 contains correspondence formats for routine AC letters, letters in special situations, correspondence concerning protests, post-AC letters, and extensions of time to file a civil action. Two charts have been included (6-90-40 and 6-90-50) which indicate the actions usually taken in post-AC correspondence situations.
As with all other transmittals for Part 6, the entire correspondence text should be reviewed before attempting to use it for the first time. Any errors detected or problems encountered in using this material should be brought to the attention of the Branch Chief promptly so that corrective action, where necessary, can be taken.
When notified, begin using the transmitted material and discard, from the existing standardized text, all material relating to noncongressional correspondence.
