Can I electronically submit documents to Social Security?

Yes. You can electronically submit certain forms and documents to Social Security through our Upload Documents application within your my Social Security account. Use the “Search Forms” or “Upload Your Documents” tabs within Upload Documents to locate the forms and/or documents you wish to submit. Note: Some agency forms and document types may not be available. Additionally, we cannot accept original/certified copies of documents electronically.
