Article 6 provides that where totalization is necessary to establish a person’s right to U.K. benefits in accordance with Article 9 of the Agreement, SSA will furnish the U.K. liaison agency with relevant claims-related information, including a record showing the number of quarters of coverage the person has earned under the U.S. system.
