See your Full Retirement Age (FRA) for Survivor benefits

"Full Retirement Age" for Survivor benefits is between age 66 and 67. It’s when you can get the maximum Survivor benefit payment. It’s not always the same as the Full Retirement Age for Retirement benefits.

You can start getting Survivor benefits as early as age 60 (50 if you have a disability). Your payment amount increases the longer you wait to apply, up to this Full Retirement Age.
