By calling 1-800-772-1213, you can use our automated telephone services to get recorded information and conduct some business 24 hours a day.

If you can't handle your business through our automated services, you can speak to a representative between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Monday through Friday:

If you are deaf or hard of hearing, call our toll-free TTY number, 1-800-325-0778, between 7a.m. and 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Use our Social Security Office Locator to find your local office. For Social Security numbers or cards, people who live or receive mail in Las Vegas, NV, the Phoenix, AZ Metropolitan Area, and Sacramento County, CA must conduct their SSN-related business with a Social Security Card Center instead of a local office.  The closest card centers are at:
