Background
This transmittal amends section I-4-1-42 of the Hearings, Appeals and Litigation Law (HALLEX) manual to update instructions relating to the expedited appeals process.
Explanation of Content and Changes
I-4-1-42 – We changed the title to “Expedited Appeals Process — Constitutional Challenge to Social Security Act” to better explain the content of the section, and we updated information in subsection A to more accurately reflect our procedures.
