Background
This transmittal amends the Hearings, Appeals and Litigation Law (HALLEX) manual chapter I-4-4 to remove outdated instructions for processing subsequent disability claim(s) while a prior claim is pending review at the Appeals Council.
Explanation of Content and Changes
HALLEX I-4-4-101 – We removed the section in its entirety because its instructions were superseded by HALLEX I-1-10.
