For comparability with the values for historical years and the projections in this report, all trust fund operations and asset reserves reflect the 12 months of benefits scheduled for payment each year.
b The combined OASI and DI Trust Funds become depleted in 2034 under the intermediate assumptions and in 2031 under the high-cost assumptions, so estimates for later years are not shown.
c The combined OASI and DI Trust Funds become depleted in 2061 under the low-cost assumptions, but combined asset reserves become positive again by the beginning of 2093 and remain positive through the remainder of the projection period. Estimates are not shown for years in which asset reserves are negative.
